After playing to a packed out Tut’s tent in the Sunday afternoon heat in 2013, Disclosure return to T in 2014 as conquering heroes, headlining the Radio 1 stage.
The Lawrence brothers grew up in Surrey in a family where everyone was playing music - their mother made radio jingles, their father played in bands, their grandparents were in orchestras. Both Howard and Guy studied music production at college.
Just a year after putting their first experiments online, the duo had their first UK hit in October 2012, with "Latch” which peaked at number 11 and featured ý Sound of 2014 winner Sam Smith.
In 2013 they scored two consecutive top 10 hit singles in "White Noise" (#2) and "You & Me" (#10) and were hailed by critics as the saviours of British dance – credited for bringing deep house to the mainstream. Their debut album Settle shot to the top of the album charts in June last year and is glittered with guest vocalists, including Jessie Ware, Jamie Woon, AlunaGeorge and Eliza Doolittle.
