Ahead of tonight's performance of John Adams's Naïve and Sentimental Music, ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 3 New Generation Thinker and academic Seán Williams and writer Rachel Hewitt, a former ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 3 New Generation Thinker, consider the German writer Friedrich Schiller’s essay On Naïve and Sentimental Poetry and contemporary ideas of sentimentality.
