About This Event

Live from Watford Colosseum, the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Concert Orchestra conducted by Jaime Martin, perform a unique selection of music for ´óÏó´«Ã½ Radio 3’s Afternoon Concert.

The afternoon opens with Dvořák’s tone poem The Noon Witch, which surrounds itself in Slavik mythology and intertwines in a six month long focus on symphonic poems. Pianists Lucas and Arthur Jussen perform a duet for solo piano in Fazil Say’s Night before giving the UK Premiere of Together Remember to Dance, a concerto for two pianos, written by the ´óÏó´«Ã½ Concert Orchestra’s Composer in Residence Dobrinka Tabakova.

The second half of the concert allows the orchestra to shine in Bartók’s sparkling Concerto for Orchestra.
