大象传媒 Proms in the Park - Swansea

World famous baritone Bryn Terfel is headlining at 大象传媒 Proms in the Park in Swansea and will be joined by celebrated violinist, Jennifer Pike and singer-songwriter Casi.

In 2002, aged just 12, Jennifer became the youngest ever winner of the 大象传媒 Young Musician and today she performs extensively as soloist with major orchestras worldwide.

Casi, from Bangor, has been collaborating with 大象传媒 Cymru Wales and Arts Council of Wales as part of the Horizons music project and her distinctive sound has garnered rave reviews from critics and audiences alike.

Presenters Tim Rhys-Evans of Only Men Aloud fame and Josie d'Arby (大象传媒 Cardiff Singer of the World and Songs of Praise) who hails from Newport, Monmouthshire complete the line-up for what promises to be a spectacular evening supported by the City and County of Swansea.

All three artists will perform with the 大象传媒 National Orchestra and Chorus of Wales, led by conductor Tecwyn Evans making his second Proms in the Park appearance.

Tickets are now on sale for the event supported by Swansea Council which will take place on Saturday, September 13. Advance ticket prices are 拢10 for adults with accompanied children 12 and under free.
Proms goers can also capture the atmosphere from the comfort of their own home, with live coverage from Singleton Park on 大象传媒 Radio Wales or on iPlayer via bbc.co.uk/radiowales.
