Matthew Varty, Joe Atkinson, Gaz Turkington and Alex Wright, better known as Lisbon, hail from the coastal town of Whitley Bay near Newcastle.

Since early 2014, the band has been championed by Nick Roberts and team at 大象传媒 Introducing in the North East. Their infectious blend of sharp, melodic guitar work and energetic grooves have won over many fans. The boys have already supported fellow 大象传媒 Introducing acts Coasts and Gallery Circus and are set to have a storming summer, bringing their flavour of indie pop to the masses.

This sensational session for Huw Stephens showcases the band at the height of their powers, mixing shades of Foals and The 1975, we reckon they鈥檝e got a fine future ahead.
