Directed by exciting collaborative soloist Daniel Pioro, the first concert in the new Leeds International Chamber Orchestra Season explores the wonderfully varied sound world of the string orchestra. Intricately ornamented solo violin lines feature in both Tom Coult鈥檚 arrangement of Hildegard von Bingen鈥檚 chant O Ecclesia and Vivaldi鈥檚 sonic representation of the four seasons of the year.
