Directed by renowned underwater cinematographer Howard Hall, this startling, beautiful documentary - with ethereal voiceovers from Depp and Winslet - will immerse you in a watery world of strange and wonderful sea creatures. Grab those 3D glasses: you'll have to resist the urge to reach out and touch.
The same team who made IMAX's Into The Deep visit some of the world's most remarkable and inaccessible sea life. Take the 100-pound Humboldt squid, a dangerous predator that changes colour four times a second, filmed in the Sea of Cortez off Mexico. Or the rainbow nudibranch, a sea slug who eats poisonous tentacles and regrows them through its own back. Intimate shots, aided by IMAX's stunning clarity, capture the alien beauty of these creatures, and many more, in utterly convincing three dimensions.

The theme is relationships; some predatory, some mutually helpful. It works, and the voiceovers - pitched so children can follow - inform without intruding on what is, really, a visual spectacle. Meanwhile, the possibilities afforded by 3D are brilliantly realised by Hall. The tiger sand shark terrifies and drifting among a million coral eggs in the Gulf of Mexico feels like floating in outer space. Eerie music by Danny Elfman (Tim Burton 's composer of choice) adds to the 2001: A Space Odyssey feel. Yes, you'll look stupid in the glasses. But for this much fun in a cinema seat, it's worth it.
