Adam Henson and Ellie Harrison head to Derbyshire. Adam is on the Renishaw Hall Estate. He finds out about the fascinating history of the house and gardens. He also helps to plant a thousand new red grapevines in the estate's vineyard; once the most northerly vineyard in the country. Ellie is in the Peak District National Park where ground-nesting birds, especially the lapwing, are under threat. By laying motion-triggered cameras she finds out who, or what, is disturbing the birds and stealing the eggs. She is also in a Bakewell churchyard where archaeologists have discovered evidence of a potentially ancient cathedral which would have been built on the site hundreds of years before the current building. She reveals the carbon testing results to the experts responsible for the dig. Tom Heap looks at new research that seems to show a link between a dramatic fall in bee numbers, and the use of certain pesticides. Adam Henson is also on his farm in the Cotswolds where he introduces us to Eric the bull's Highland calf and he shows a bunch of kids how their supermarket chicken is reared.
