Simple smoked mackerel p芒t茅
This simple mackerel p芒t茅 is a wonderful starter with crispy toast.
Ingredients
- 2 smoked mackerel, skinned and boned
- 125g/4oz cottage cheese
- 150g/5oz soured cream
- juice of half a lemon, or more
- grated nutmeg
- black pepper and salt
- cayenne pepper
- 2 lemons cut into wedges
Method
Blend all the ingredients. Season to taste with pepper, nutmeg and salt.
Put into individual dishes or one large one. Cover with clingfilm and chill for two hours
Sprinkle with a little cayenne and serve with lemon wedges.
