A low-growing perennial this forms attractive mounds of mid-green foliage that curls up at the edges to give a pleasing texture. It makes a good ground cover plant, and is best planted in a sunny spot to bring out the silvery marbling on the leaves. Plants produce attractive flowers in early summer and will often produce a second flush of blooms later in the year as well. For the best effect, use it along the edge of a herbaceous border or plant in naturalised drifts.
