An elegant, clump-forming grass with rich green, arching, strappy leaves. It grows well in nearly all conditions and is a useful plant for harmonising different colours within a border. When grown in full sun this plant often develops a slight reddish tinge during spring and autumn. It looks particularly good with hostas and other ornamental grasses.
