This tender perennial climber, often grown as an annual, is a relative of morning glory. Rather than large cup-shaped flowers, like its relative, the flowers are produced, in a row along one side of long stalks. The colours are staggered from scarlet through orange and buffish yellow to cream as they fade with age.
