Ornamental grasses, such as miscanthus, add colour and interest to the garden for months on end. 'Kleine Silberspinne' has narrow, arching leaves with a silver mid-rib. In late summer, panicles of dark red-brown flower tower above the foliage. These turn silver in autumn and remain looking good until the following spring when the plants have to be cut down to ground level to make room for the new growth.
