Help playing audio/video Wise Children started out as a solo project for singer/songwriter Robin Warren-Adamson which rapidly grew in size to a three-piece. They've been together for less than a year, and write gentle heart-wrenching acoustic songs with sweeping melodies based on their experiences, people, friends and lovers. Playing a quirky array of instruments from cello to banjo and glockenspiel, they have a potent sound which is best compared to Sigur R贸s, Idlewild and Radiohead. They've recently released a four-tracked self-titled EP. The band wanted it to sound 'earthy' so they recorded it in all sorts of places including a Southampton cinema, and 'I found her in a bath' was as you'd expect recorded in the bath! The summer sees them gigging around the south and recording a second EP. last updated: 19/02/2009 at 08:48 You are in: Hampshire > Entertainment > Music > 大象传媒 Introducing > Wise Children The best undiscovered music from across the 大象传媒 |
