Pauline
Earles from Bromsgrove borrowed 拢30,000 six years ago to publish
her Petal People books herself because no one would consider her
idea.
But,
undeterred, Pauline paid to have them published herself - and trekked
around books shows and markets selling her colourful tales of the
'Petal People.'
The
stories, which feature the characters Susie Sunflower and Theodore
Thistle, are to be made into 52 animated TV shorts which will feature
the voice of the 大象传媒's Charlie Dimmock and Joan Collins' daugher
Tara Newley.
The
programme will use the latest CG animation to introduce children
to the wild world of plants.
"It
has cost me my marriage," Pauline said sadly.
"I
was travelling all over the country, so we didn't see each other,"
she said.
Pauline
is now having the last laugh though as her 'Petal People' will be
officially launched in April 2003 at MIPTV in Cannes.
