Carolyn
Blake has lived in Hereford all her life and has exhibited throughout
the counties.
During
h.Art week Carolyn's work will be displayed at the Open Exhibition,
the Tidal Wave Gallery in Bridge Street and Sacred Space at Leominster
Priory.

Carolyn
explains more, "apart from being a veritable feast for the
eyes and soul, h.Art week is also a wonderful opportunity for artists
who often are very solitary figures hiding in studios etc, to come
out and network, not only with the general public but with each
other, so I think it's wonderful.
"All
my work is to do with the response on the emotional level of landscape,
and surrounded as we are by countryside of outstanding beauty then
I'm continually inspired by the ancestral pull of the earth.
"This
all sounds very pretentious, and maybe a bit arty-farty, I hope
not, but it's difficult to write about my work - that's why I paint!
