There
used to be a cafe at the top of the Worcestershire Beacon
until it burned down in 1989.
In
Victorian times there was also a camera obscurer on the
Beacon and another one at St Anne's well.
The
well at the foot of the Worcestershire Beacon is one of
72 wells and springs on the hills.
If
you look closely at the photo you can see pupils of the
John Maysfield High School in Ledbury who were on a field
trip the day the picture was taken.
