railway tunnel 1567 yards long runs under the hills near
this point
There
is another abandoned railway tunnel running alongside
the current one which is the home to a colony of rare
horseshoe bats
Looking
east from this point the next highest hills are the Urals
in Russia
The
pre-Cambrian rock that forms the hills is some of the
oldest in Britain.
