Daniela Nardini will for ever be associated with the ground-breaking TV drama This Life.

The kind of unforgettable performance she gave as Anna can prove to be a millstone round the neck, but since This Life she has gone on to build a very varied career.

She's been back on TV in Big Women and Undercover Heart and has enjoyed numerous theatrical roles in plays such as Macbeth and The Cherry Orchard.

Now she's appearing in Malvern in a version of Camille that was very successful at the
Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith.

'Powerful' and 'Sensual' are two of the words being used to describe the production of a play about a woman who can afford anything – except fall in love.

Passion in Paris

It's set in the salons and boudoirs of Paris, where anyone can have Marguerite’s body for the right price. But no one can have her heart.

Then, on a night when her life of expensive passion shatters with the first signs of a fatal illness, a handsome young artist catches her eye.

When they meet, a mutual obsession is ignited – but one which will tear both their worlds apart.

Daniela Nardini takes on the role of the tragic heroine, Maugerite Gautier.

Camille is directed by David McVicar – one of the world’s most admired young opera directors making an eagerly awaited return to the theatre after a series of acclaimed productions including Rigoletto at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden which was later televised for the ´óÏó´«Ã½.
