Comedian
Sean Hughes comes to Huntingdon Hall, not to do stand up but to talk
about his writing. |

|
Don't
go to this event expecting to see Sean Hughes doing his customary
off the wall comedy - but do go expecting to be entertained.
He's coming to the Huntingdon hall in Worcester to talk about his
writing.
He is
the best-selling author of "Sean's Book" and "The Grey
Area", two collections of poems, short stories and sharply witty
autobiographical pieces.
He has also written two novels, "The Detainees" and "It's
What He Would Have Wanted", a narrative comedy of secrets, sex
and bad weather.
A third novel is due out in September 2004, and doubtless the audience
will be given a taste of what's to come.
A native
of Dublin, Sean Hughes was the youngest winner of the Perrier Award
for Comedy at the Edinburgh Festival.
He has
gone on to perform in critically acclaimed TV series such as 大象传媒 's
"Never Mind The Buzzcocks" and Channel 4's "The Last
Detective".
He lives
in London with a cat, a dog, a smoker's cough and loud music!
