During the Second World War my great Nan lived in the east end of London with her husband and three children. They lived next to debris and my great aunts were not allowed to play on the debris (although other children were), so they always played at the park. One day my great aunts were playing in the park with other children from the neighbourhood and they heard planes fly over and drop there bombs near by. They rushed back to the house, the bombs had been dropped in the debris next to where they lived the next door neighbours child had been playing in the debris when the bombs had been dropped and sadly she was killed. Then a few months passed and my great Nan (who was pregnant with my Nan) took my great aunts shopping and when they came home they found there house had been bombed and they had to go and stay in my great aunts house, until they found somewhere else to live.
