I was twenty one years old when the war ended. I am nearly eighty now. I lived in Bulwell, Nottingham, during the war.
Bombs were dropped near Boots and did a lot of damage.
There were bombs at Camel Lairds. This was a factory where they made shells for bullets.
Down Bulwell there were also bombs dropped. They didn't do much damage, but they frightened a lot of children
