I belonged a little dancing class, when I was about 6, and several of us used to perform several dances and songs and we'd go and perform these in different venues - 2 of these were specifically to entertain the troops. These were Picton Hall and St Georges Hall.

We used to go across from one to the other and perform the same concert in each. Each hall was packed full of troops, row after row of them.

I can only say they must have been very easy to entertain!
