The People's War project in Canterbury is a partnership between Kent Libraries and Archives, the Dean and Chapter of Canterbury, Canterbury City Council Museums and Community Service Volunteers.

We will be running World War Two reminiscence sessions in libraries across the Canterbury district during the autumn of 2004, to collect people's WW2 stories and add them to this website.

Volunteers will be available at pre-booked sessions to record your memories, and assist those who are unfamiliar with computers.

If you would like to book a session please contact Christine Gibbons at Canterbury Library (01227 463608) and she will organise for a volunteer to be available at an arranged time.
