I am a Creative Writing MA student writing a crime novel set during the war. I am very keen that all the facts I use be correct. The story starts during the blitz, uses memories of Dunkirk and carries on through the war. This means that much of what I am interested in is either not available from the usual sources, or if it is, it isn't easily accessable. Therefore, any help from those who exerienced the reality of war would be very much appreciated.
