My name is Joan Davies. I am a volunteer in a school project listening to children read in a local primary school. As volunteers we have `Meet and Greet` sessions, where news and items of interest are exchanged. As it is over 60 years since the end of WW2 we were asked if we knew any anecdotes/stories of life during WW2. I have volunteered to be a story gatherer for anyone with a story to tell about the war years 1939-1945.
