When I retired 10 years ago I thought it would be a good idea to write about my wartime experiences. So if ever my grandchildren became interested to know about those times they would be able to read about my memories of those days. I have added my writings in three chapters entitled "Memories of a World War Two Evacuee"
My Wife and I have lived in Wickford, Essex since 1967. I hope that readers will read and enjoy my record of those times.
