The Peace Museum, Bradford is the UK's only peace museum. It is an independent trust and registered charity and has been running for some 8 years. It has some 5,000 items in its collection and covers nonviolence, conflict resolution and peace history. In its gallery it displays personal, community and national/international peacemaking through posters, banners, paintings & interpretative text. It has particularly created five different travelling exhibitions available across the UK and abroad, including one on Women Peacemakers past and present (free hire + postage - sent in a box). Contributions to the museum's collection are welcome.
