Capt. Frederick Bowers was my father. He died on
26 November 1946 in a Berlin Military Hospital. Dad was on a 48 hour pass before being demobbed.

I have a copy of his death certificate, but would dearly like to know the incidents that lead up to his death and, what he actually did during the war.

Dad was enlisted on 14th February 1943 transferred to Royal Signals on 18th March 1943
and Commissioned to 2nd Lieutenant Royal Signals on 19th January 1944. He appears to have done all his military service in England until being sent to Berlin on 29th April 1945.

If there is anyone out there who remembers him or can throw any light on what his duties were I would be delighted to know.

Veronica (Nica)
