This is a series of letters written in October/November 1944 by my late uncle, Greville (aka Freddie) Moss, a non-commissioned officer with the British Army in France, to his family in Cambridgeshire. They were intended for publication in a local newspaper and record the thrilling sequence of events from the victorious march through France on to the liberation of Brussels.

Unfortunately I do not have any of the photographs referred to in the fourth letter.

His unit was the Royal Corps of Signals.
