I'm a 40-something who's spent years researching the fate of his uncle who was killed on Ops with 12 Squadron, Bomber Command. In February 2004 we had a special Church service followed by a reception at the Imperial War Museum in memory of the seven dead crewmen.
I'm now carrying out a personal project to record on tape as many memories from Bomber Command people as possible. Always happy to hear from anyone who served with Bomber Command.
