I am looking and studying about my aunt, Winifred Howson, and uncle, William Johnston Howson. They both were in the war, Winn in the WAAF and Johnston in the RAF. He was killed in February 1945, over Holland, my aunt died in 1994, so I am trying to collect memories and facts. Johnston was the wireless operator on a Lancaster PD 221, 550 sqd, his crew had some very young canadians.
