i joined the Womens Land Army, and was stationed in a little village in Lincolnshire,we were housed in a hostel and taken out each morning by an old decrepit bus to wherever the farmer needed us,the driver of the bus was our foreman and each evening he would bring us back again to the hostel, where we would dash for the bathroom, and a bath, tired and filthy, what a scramble that was!!whoever got to the bathroom first got the hottest water and the better bath, can you imagine!!never less than ten girls, and sometimes as many as twenty!! memories! memories!! and all with only two bathrooms, i have many tales to tell if there is anybody out there interested,
