I have always been interested in the Home Front side of the war. I inherited a tiny diary of my Auntie Gwen's, written in 1941 in pencil. I decided to type it up before it was lost forever. Auntie Gwen lived in Portsmouth, and was my Mum's older sister.Her diary is an insight into how ordinary life went on despite the heavy bombing etc that Portsmouth suffered during that year.
