I was born in Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire in 1932. When I left school at 14yrs I started on the Railway and then moved through various departments finishing up as the Chief Operating Inspector at Euston where I retired in 1993 after 46 years service.
I founded the Locomotive Club of Great Britain in 1949 and are Chairman/Vice President of the Club at the moment.
Toc H has been part of my life for many years and together with my Wife we go out to Poperinge in Belgium to act as Wardens at Talbot House where it was founded in 1915. We also run a local Charity Shop which celebrates it's 15th anniversary this year.
We enjoy holidays in Guernsey and Malta and are interested in their Wartime connections.
