I was a child of 4 when the war started. During my education I accepted that everyone kills in war at the command of their government.
WhenI reached 15 I came across other views and fairly rapidly learnt that no one gains from war, and that we each must take responsibility for our actions.
Through my adult years I have kept to these views, temporarily wavering when Kuwait was invaded.
After 200,000 Iraqui conscripts were bombed and buried alive under sand in the first war against Iraq, I returned to my full rejection of all war.
