As a schoolboy in WW2 we were mainly concerned with sweet rationing. The personal Points, as sweet coupons were called, allowed for a ration of 6 oz. per week.
I woild buy 4 oz of peardrops,averageing 10 sweets
2 a day each weekdayand a 2oz.bar of chocolate for the weekend,4 squares a day.
Besides food, clothing coal and furniturte were rationed and rationing didn't finally end until 1954,after QE2 was crowned Queen.
I've had a book published "Hanley Wakes",my account of childhood in the immediate post war Potteries and should be interested to copy any photos of those days
