I was born 1941 in Rotherham Yorkshire,Just before father was called up to go to war. Memories of bombs and sirens lack of food.I found it facinating what my father went through and am so proud of him.
my father passed away in Dec 2001 so I would like to keep his memory alive by hearing from anyone who might have been with him in the Royal Engineers 8th army
