I was in the Loyals just after the war. My regimental # was 19129875. I did basic training at Formby February 1947 and Corps training at Carlisle. Prior to my Corps training I was accidentally posted to the Royal Armoured Corps and then to the infantry. TSmith67 was also wrongly posted to the Loyals, He presumably finished up as a Trooper. Trust the Army! Why they couldn' simply alter the paperwork and leave us where we were I'll never know.
