I've added information to this website because my father was in the RAF from September 1939 and told me many stories about it over the years as well as leaving an album full of photographs of his friends and the RAF years.
Its seems wrong that so much will be forgotten.
My father was lucky, many of his friends who at one time flew with him were not.
When I look at young men of 19 now and think that my father was only that age when he joined up and only 25 when the worst was over, I think that he and those who flew with him must have been exceptional. I know he was a wonderful father.
