I was born in Birminham 1935, and live most of my childhood years in one of the Back-to-Back houses, similar to the ones that have recently been refurbished to their original state and opened up to the public as a museum of days gone by. I am Married and I have 4 daughters, all have married and raised their own families which means that I have 6 grandchildren with another one on the way. My addition to the WW2 site is mainly of my memories as a child in those dark days, and I have tried to write some of these memories in the form of verse, (although I confess that I am of a very amatuerish poet)
