The Local Studies Library is home to a large collection of resources for the study of Local and Family History.
Visit the library to find out about life before, during and after the Second World War.
We have books, maps, illustrations, newspapers, etc. plus oral history recordings of interviews with local people.
We are an Associate Centre for the 大象传媒 People's War project and have created a 'Memory Zone' on the 5th floor of the Central Library where you can share experiences and memories of life during the Second World War.
Library staff will be pleased to help you log on and use the library's computers to add your contribution to this unique on-line archive. To book a session telephone 01274 433688.
