I am interested in any information out there about a group of policemen who formed the No5 Army Commando, trained at Achnacary and were posted to the Arakan in Burma in 1942.
I only found out by chance that this commando unit was made up of policemen. My late father was a member of this group but did not provide his family with many details.
I would appreciate any information you may have.
