My father wrote a story on the advice of the Matron of Sutton hospital where he was being treated for his wounds and nerves. He was with the BEF in France in 1941 shot in the chest, taken prisoner, escaped and managed to reach Dunkirk for the evacuation. The story tells mainly of his escape and terrible experiences during that time. He was questions by the police on reaching UK who treated him as a spy as he was dressed as a French peasant.
As the story is approx. 18.000 words I think it is too long to publish on this site. Any ideas please?
