Standing up for justice

Soapbox has recorded a special programme talking to the law enforcers in this area. The aim? To stimulate debate on Britain's criminal justice. Listen online to the programme and then call live on Monday 20th September from 11.30am to have your say.

An invited audience got their chance to pitch their questions to the Chief Constable, Tim Hollis, Chief Crown Prosecutor, Nigel Cowgill, Area Director for Her Majesty's court Service, Dyfed Foulkes, the Governor of Hull's Hedon Road Prison, Steve Tilley, Chief Officer for the National Probation service, Steve Hemming and Neil Colthup, Manager of Hull's Youth Offending Teams, during a 'Soapbox' debate for 'Inside Justice Week'.

The event was broadcast on Monday 20th November was held at the 大象传媒 Open Centre in Hull and chaired by Soapbox's Blair Jacobs.听Top of the agenda were police response times and crime figures, ASBOs, youth crime, rehabilitation of offenders and the controversial subject of bail hostels.
