Grandparents Apart

Agony aunt and grandparent Virginia Ironside meets the grandparents fighting for access to their grandchildren.

Margaret's son was killed in 1998 and since then her daughter in law has refused to let her see her grandson and granddaughter.

Pam Wilson who runs The Grandparents Action Group explains why she believes grandparents deserve more rights of contact.

Grandparents can also receive help from The Grandparents Action Group - contact Pam Wilson.

Something in the Water

Underwater life
Warm waters - sharks are moving in to the North Sea

Researchers in Suffolk have proved the North Sea is warming up.

David Whiteley is given a rare chance to go aboard The Endeavour, the Starship Enterprise of sea science.

Researchers from CEFAS show him how new species including sharks are moving in, while once common species such as cod are now seriously under threat.

Beautiful Men

It's new but it's booming - it's the cult of the beautiful male.

Men are discovering the beauty bug. Inside Out meets men on Botox with varnish on their toes...

Man having facial
Look at me - Botox is the latest fashion for the new man

Sales of men's skincare products have increased by 900 per cent in the past five years, and men are now regulars in salons.

Steve Martin is a 39-year-old mechanic from Suffolk who has regular treatment to smooth out lines on his face.

In similar fashion 50-year-old Michael Reddan says facials have made him a new man.

Inside Out East is on Monday September 5 at 19.30 on 大象传媒 One.
