Before... and after

Warden, Malcolm Davies has looked after the reserve for 10 years and it's been a total transformation.

"The land had been intensively farmed, the marsh drained, and of no use to water fowl or waders," explains Malcolm.

"We've managed to strike more of a balance between the needs of the farmers and the need of the birds."
