The latest in what seems to be a summer jam packed with sensational event has come to a close.

The Jersey International Air Display attracted a crowd of thousands to St Aubin's Bay with more watching from the Airport, homes and various bars and cafe's along the Waterfront.

Despite the sunshine, a great turnout and high spirits, the display did had a few problems.听

Late yesterday afternoon, a T33 crashed after taking off from the Imperial War Museum at Duxford, though the crew was unharmed.听

The privately-owned T-33 training jet went down on the Royston side of the airfield on Wednesday on its way to an international air display in Jersey.

It is one of the best known military training aircrafts in the world - having been used by the air forces of 20 different countries for almost 40 years.

Also, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight has been unable to fly due to high crosswinds.听

It was also reported that the RAF Falcons parachute team wouldn't be performing in the display.

The organiser of the Display, Mike Higgins, says it's because the Armed Forces are stretched, and they couldn't get the Hercules over to the Island yesterday afternoon.

But the crowd's enjoyed displays from a variety of aircraft, with the Red Arrows display team providing a popular finale.

You on the Display

We've covered three Air Displays on bbc.co.uk/jersey since we launched in 2002 and every year we notice you're out and about with video cameras, still cameras and mobile phones.

This year, instead of just having a few photos we've taken on the day - we want you to share your pics with the island.

Did you capture a loop-the-loop, a fly past or maybe you and your family/friends in awe of a plane going by?

Do you have photos of your children or even yourself sitting in the cockpit of a plane or helicopter at the static display?

Why not send your photos, video & comments to us. Just email: jersey@bbc.co.uk
