Children In NeedYou are in: Jersey > Children In Need > Children in Need 2007 Children in Need 2007Let us know what you're doing for Children in Need this year and be included on Pudsey's roll of honour. We're impressed each year here at 大象传媒 Jersey by the time, effort and enthusiasm islanders put into raising money each year for Children in Need, and I'm sure that 2007 will be no different. Whether you're going to work in your pyjamas, baking Pudsey cakes to sell or shaving your head don't forget to tell us what you're doing to raise money for Children in Need. Let us know what fund-raising events you've organised and we'll add them to Pudsey's Roll of Honour.
Barchester Lakeside Care HomeA teddies bear picnic will be served for lunch and staff will be dressed in pyjamas and bringing in their teddies. There will also be a coffee morning with stalls and a raffle. Three staff members will be having their legs and chests waxed and heads shaved next door at the Mermaid Tavern in the evening. Co-OpAs ever all the stops are being pulled out by the folk at the Co-op for Children in Need. Staff in stores across the island will be paying to dress-down for work. Most food stores and En Route forecourts, Homemaker and Total Sport will be holding raffles in-store. St Helier Grand March茅 will have a boat brought into store to support their pirate theme. St Peter Grand March茅 is holding a cake sale and staff will be taking part in a Lands End to John O'Groats exercise bike challenge. Pontac will have a Guess the Teddy Bears name competition. Various staff will be doing their own fundraising too including riding a tandem bike around all the stores, running around all the stores and Financial Manager, Greg Zambon will shave off his 30 year-old beard if he raises enough money!! D'Auvergne SchoolChildren are wearing casual dress. There will be a cake sale, games and an afternoon walk in the woods. De La Salle SchoolPupils are bringing a bear to school. There will be a colouring and collage competition and there will also be a raffle. Grouville Primary SchoolPupils and staff will be coming into school in their pyjamas and bringing their teddies along with them. Helvetia SchoolStudents are having a fun hair day and a talent competition. Janvrin SchoolThe school will be having Teddy Bear's picnic and lots of other teddy type things going on. JCGGirls are designing and making Pudsey accessories and making a donation to wear them. Jersey LibraryThere will be a TEDDY'S STORYTIME at the Jersey Library on Thursday 15 November at 14:00. Children are encouraged to bring their teddies along to hear a story. La Moye SchoolThe school is holiday a Children in Need fayre with stalls and games. Mermaid Tavern PubLocal band Fiddlers Green will be performing between 6.30 and 8.30 and a buffet supper will be served. EVERYONE WELCOME. Plus, three members of the staff from the Barchester care home will be having legs and chest waxed and heads shaved. Mont a'Labbe SchoolIt will be a non-uniform and bring a bear to school day. Samares SchoolPupils will be coming into school in their pyjamas and dressing gowns whilst some of the older children will be bagging up shopping in a local supermarket. Scallywags PreschoolChildren will be baking Pudsey cookies to sell to their friends and family in aid of CiN. St John's SchoolChildren are taking in coins to make a giant 'snail trail' around the school. They're also be attending school in non-uniform or fancy dress. The day will culminate when teachers and parents go head to head in a netball match. St Lawrence Ladies Action GroupSt Luke's SchoolThe whole of St Luke's Primary school (including staff!) is taking part in an aerobics session in Howard Davis Park to raise money for CiN. St Mary's SchoolChildren are wearing something spotty to school and there will also be a Pudsey Cake sale. Studio 18The studio will be exhibiting large copies of the photos from the 大象传媒 Children in Need calendar - your chance to see some of the staff of 大象传媒 Jersey in glorious B&W. And of course, the calendars will be on sale as well! Voisin's Law FirmStaff at the law firm are paying to dress down for the day, whilst fund-raising co-ordinator Melanie L'Amy will be donning fancy dress. Staff are also going to be bringing in a dish for an all-you-can-eat buffet - and then听 paying to enjoy the spread!
