The 2008 Battle of Flowers Moonlight Parade has been billed by many as the most successful ever.

This year it was St Mary with Hogwarts Class of 2008 that picked up the prize for the best illuminated float.

It was Magical Garden by St Peter Juniors who took the best lit junior float award.

Thursday's Prix d'Honneur winners Optimists topped off their weekend with the Best Moonlight Carnival Atmosphere prize.

We have taken hundreds of photographs of the moonlight parade. That includes pictures of the floats, dancers, musicians and people involved.

There were fire eaters, Darth Vader, Murray Norton and Fireworks. Not forgetting Mr, Miss and Miss Junior Battle.
